Theodor Jensen and CLX #17 clinch the ELMS LMP3 title at Silverstone
Fourth win of the season crowns a dominant campaign for the Ligier‑Toyota trio
CLX Motorsport’s No. 17 sealed the 2025 ELMS LMP3 Team and Drivers’ titles at Silverstone, with Theodor Jensen and co‑drivers Paul Lanchère and Adrien Closmenil mastering treacherous, rain‑hit conditions to take a statement victory.
The race was red‑flagged with eight minutes remaining for poor visibility, but by then the championship was already theirs, clinched with one round to spare and underlined by a winning margin of over a minute.
How the #17 won the day
In a stop‑start race of changing grip and strategy calls, the CLX crew stayed clean, executed the pit windows precisely and controlled the pace once they reached the front. The official classification shows the No. 17 first in LMP3, confirmation of a controlled run to the flag.
“We kept our heads when the weather turned and trusted our calls. The car was mega in the wet. This is a special one for the whole team.” — Theodor Jensen

A season built on authority
Silverstone was win number four in five races for Jensen/Lanchère/Closmenil: Barcelona, Le Castellet, Imola and now Silverstone.
The kind of strike rate that turns an early points lead into an unassailable title. After back‑to‑back poles and wins to open the year (a perfect 52/52 points after two rounds), the No. 17 added a third straight victory from pole at Imola to reach 78 points before the summer break.
A rare stumble at Spa‑Francorchamps, their first DNF of the season, trimmed the cushion but didn’t change the trajectory.
Silverstone was the response: calm, clinical, and decisive.
Jensen’s championship moment
For Theodor Jensen, the title crowns a breakout ELMS campaign: fast when it mattered, tidy in traffic, and relentlessly consistent alongside his teammates.
In mixed conditions at Silverstone, where judgment is as valuable as speed, he delivered exactly what the program has preached all year: no drama and maximum execution. The result makes the No. 17 the benchmark car of the class in 2025 and locks Theodor Jensen into the ELMS roll of honor.
