Theodor Jensen Extends Contract with CLX Motorsport - Graduates to LMP2 for 2026
Jensen to race alongside Adrien Closmenil and Ian Aguilera.
Theodor Jensen today announced he has extended his contract with CLX Motorsport and will step up from LMP3 to LMP2 for the 2026 season. Jensen will race as part of a three‑driver lineup with Adrien Closmenil and Ian Aguilera.
“I’m proud to continue with CLX Motorsport and to make the move to LMP2 in 2026,” said Theodor Jensen. “We’ve built something strong in LMP3, and carrying that momentum into LMP2 with Adrien and Ian is the right next step. LMP2 demands precision, consistency, and teamwork at a higher level. Everything we’ve been preparing for.”
LMP2 represents a significant performance and operational leap from LMP3, with higher speed potential and tighter margins in engineering and race execution. Jensen’s promotion underscores a multi‑year development plan with CLX Motorsport, emphasizing endurance racecraft, technical feedback, and reliability over long stints.
“My focus now is preparation, learning the car, sharpening our procedures, and maximising every test and simulator session,” Jensen added. “We want to arrive in 2026 ready to execute from the first lap, and to be at our best.”
