Theodor Jensen Steps Up to LMP2 with High Class Racing in the 2026 Asian Le Mans Series
Danish rising star Theodor Jensen will make his LMP2 debut in the upcoming 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series, joining High Class Racing alongside Gustavo Menezes and Jens Reno Møller in the #49 ORECA 07 – Gibson.
The 19-year-old Dane joins the multiple-time Le Mans entrant as one of the sport’s most exciting young endurance talents. Coming off a remarkable year in which he secured back-to-back LMP3 titles in both the Asian and European Le Mans Series, Jensen is ready to take the next step in his career with a move to the premier prototype class.
“This is a huge opportunity for me to return to the series after last year’s success,” said Jensen. “Racing in LMP2 with drivers like Gustavo and Jens is a dream come true. I’ve learned a lot in LMP3, and I’m ready to take the next step and prove myself at this level, which also serves as great preparation for the 2026 European Le Mans Series.”
With this move, Jensen continues his rapid ascent through the endurance racing ranks. He will also race in LMP2 in the 2026 European Le Mans Series with CLX Motorsport, subject to entry confirmation, marking a year of significant progression for the young Dane.
High Class Racing’s return to LMP2 in the Asian Le Mans Series brings together a blend of experience and youthful energy. Former Peugeot factory driver Gustavo Menezes adds international pedigree to the line-up, while Jens Reno Møller, who shared success with Jensen in LMP3 last season, provides continuity and mentorship.
“We’re thrilled to be back in the Asian Le Mans Series with such a strong and diverse driver lineup,” said team owner Anders Fjordbach. “Gustavo’s experience, Jens’ consistency, and Theodor’s potential create a dynamic team that we believe can challenge for podiums and represent Danish motorsport at the highest level.”
The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series kicks off with a pair of four-hour races at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from 12–14 December 2025, before heading to the Middle East for the remaining rounds.
With proven pace, a championship-winning record, and a growing reputation as one of Denmark’s brightest endurance prospects, Theodor Jensen’s LMP2 debut with High Class Racing marks another milestone on his path toward racing at the very top of international sports car competition.
