Theodor Jensen Caps Most Dominant ELMS LMP3 Season on Record: 5 Wins, 5 Poles from 6 Rounds

Theodor Jensen has signed off an extraordinary European Le Mans Series (ELMS) LMP3 campaign widely regarded as the most dominant in the category’s history, delivering five wins from six races and five pole positions from six qualifying sessions. Capping the season’s achievements, the CLX #17 entry was honoured with the “Performance of the Year” award, recognising the car and crew’s relentless speed, execution, and consistency across the calendar.

CLX also earlier confirmed, that Jensen will continue with the team next season, graduating to LMP2 for 2026. The move cements a proven partnership and provides a natural next step.

“This season has been special for everyone involved,” said Theodor Jensen. “An LMP3 car rewards precision and teamwork, and we executed at a very high level. Five wins and five poles from six is a credit to the entire CLX crew. To see the #17 recognised with Performance of the Year is the perfect finishing touch. I’m grateful for the trust CLX has shown in me, and I can’t wait to carry that momentum into LMP2 next year.”

Across six ELMS rounds, Jensen and CLX combined standout single-lap speed with disciplined race craft, repeatedly converting front-row starts into commanding race performances. The headline numbers, 5/6 wins and 5/6 poles, tell the story of a campaign that set the standard for control over a full ELMS season, anchored by clean execution in traffic, pit stop precision, and pace management.

Stepping Up: LMP2 with CLX in 2026

The transition to LMP2 brings higher downforce, greater power, and an even deeper competitive field. Jensen’s graduation underscores CLX’s commitment to developing talent within its prototype ladder and competing for honours at the sharp end of multi-class endurance racing.

“Moving up is about embracing complexity: tire management, navigating traffic, and race strategy windows all grow in LMP2,” added Jensen. “We’ve built a strong foundation together in LMP3, and I’m excited to apply that learning with CLX next season.”
